Accommodation
For the conference dates we have sourced several rooms at colleges in Oxford within walking distance of the main conference venue.
Please see the options below which all can be booked via the registration process when you purchase your conference ticket.
Full payment for your booking must be received prior to the conference.
Payment must be made in GBP Sterling. Payments can be accepted by credit/debit card (Visa and Mastercard only) and by invoice with a strict 14-day payment term.
Exeter College
Exeter College, Cohen Quadrangle is less than a 10 minute walk away from the Historic centre, as well as the local train station.
Rate: £104.30 per room per night to include Bed & Breakfast in a Single Ensuite room.
Distance to the Blavatnik – 0.2 miles, 5 minute walk
Worcester College
Worcester College is located in the centre of Oxford on the junction of Beaumont Street, Walton Street and Worcester Street. The college is a 2-3 minute walk from the main bus/coach station.
All ensuite rooms have complimentary wifi.
Rate: £124.00 per room per night to include Bed & Breakfast in a Single Ensuite room.
Distance to the Blavatnik – 0.3 miles, 7 minute walk
Christ Church
In addition, we have secured accommodation at Christ Church, but this should be booked directly with them rather than through the registration system:
Christ Church Student accommodation (Double bedroom ensuite room, B&B. Location: 117 St Aldates Building for a set rate of £97.75 +VAT per night). Details of how to book will be made available shortly.

Please join us this year at The Oxford Union Society for a warm welcome reception. Enjoy drinks and canapés as you reconnect with familiar faces and meet new colleagues. We’ll then transition to an adjoining room for the evening’s debate, continuing the conversation in true Oxford style.

Conference Dinner

Join us for the Glutamate 2026 conference dinner at Rhodes House, a historic Grade II* listed country house in the heart of the city. We start with pre-dinner drinks before adjourning to McCall MacBain Hall, where the Rhodes Scholar Community has gathered for nearly 100 years.
